Sheldon Lake (and members of LTVBC)
will be our hosts for the day.

Highway (Business 90) at Park Road 138.
From Dayton take Highway 90 west for a
little under 20 miles to the intersection with
FM 2100 in Crosby. In Crosby take the
Beaumont Highway (Business 90, not the
“main” US 90) and proceed about 5 miles
to the park entrance to the right. There is a
flag pole on the north side of the road.
Cross over the railroad tracks to the park
entrance. If you reach Beltway 8 you have
gone too far.
Bring a sack lunch so we can continue birding
in the afternoon. Nancy said that we
cannot see everything Sheldon Lake has to
offer in one day but we can do a lot of it if
we bird all day. The park does not open until
8:00 a.m.
The park telephone number is 281-456-
2800.
